Molly Morse pitches at Fashion for Good Innovation Fest

On June 14, 2018, Molly presented to corporate partners and members of the textile industry at Fashion for Good’s Innovation Fest in Amsterdam. As the final event of the 3 month accelerator program, Innovation Fest featured all of the start-ups in Batch 3, along with some of the new members of the Fashion for Good Scaling Programme. Cradle to Cradle Fashion Positive recently released the first edition of a quarterly report highlighting the most promising innovators working towards the future of fashion. Mango Materials is honored to be included in this report and are grateful to Fashion Positive for showcasing our polyester of the future. Mango Materials selected as one of 15 innovators in batch #3 of the Fashion for Good – Plug and Play accelerator

Mango Materials has been selected as one of 15 innovators for the Fashion for Good – Plug and Play accelerator. As part of Batch #3, we will be participating in events from March to June at their facility in Amsterdam that include meetings with brands, mentors, and corporate partners in the sustainable fashion space. Fashion for Good was launched in 2017 and the Accelerator Programme is part of the Innovation Platform, which also includes a Scaling Programme and the Good Fashion Fund. Molly and Anne will be attending several focus weeks and the accelerator will conclude on June 14th with a graduation at the Fashion for Good hub in Amsterdam, where we will showcase our biopolyester made from methane to an audience of industry leaders and investors. Molly wins Amazon’s Women’s First Award at Global Entrepreneurship Summit

Molly represented Mango Materials at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES2017) in Hyderabad, India. Molly was selected as a semi-finalist to pitch at the catalyst pitch competition held by Global Innovation through Science and Technology (GIST). The semi-finalists were chosen based on a combined score that took into account the public vote, pitch video, and feedback from expert judges. Molly was awarded the Women’s First Award presented by Amazon which includes a Dell computer and Amazon services!
